Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng Presides Over the Opening Ceremony of “Cambodia Vision 2022” Conference Presided Over by Samdech Techo Hun Sen
Phnom Penh÷Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, this morning, October 6, 2022, presided over the opening ceremony of the conference “Vision of Cambodia 2022” under the high presidency of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Director. Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia at Sokha Hotel, Phnom Penh.
The “Vision of Cambodia” conference is an important forum to bring together experts to discuss topics related to economic and social issues as input for solving challenges and exploring opportunities for development in Cambodia. The conference “Vision of Cambodia 2022” is organized under the theme “Rehabilitation of Cambodia: Sustainable Development after the Kovid-19 Crisis”.
The Cambodia Vision 2022 conference is attended by about 400 leaders from national and sub-national levels of the Royal Government of Cambodia, foreign embassies, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Cambodia, UN agencies, the private sector, development partners, educational institutions, and educational institutions. Research and national-international NGOs in Cambodia as well.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Institute for Training and Research for Development of Cambodia (CDRI), G Gear Group, Chip Mong Group and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the country. Australia, which initiated this important conference.
The Prime Minister said that in order to orient the socio-economic development of Cambodia, the Royal Government has already set out a four-stage rectangular strategy. At each stage, the Royal Government identifies “people” as one of the four priority areas: roads, water, electricity and people. As an additional input to today’s conference, Samdech also shared the thoughts and directions of the Royal Government to the conference.
