Phnom Penh÷ Lieutenant General Hun Manet, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, Commander of the Army, met with Lt. Gen. ROMEO S BRAWNER JUNIOR, Commander of the Philippine Army on October 4, 2022. Visit and participate in the Land Forces International Land Defense Exposition in Australia.
During the meeting, Lt. Gen. Hun Manet praised the good cooperation between the two countries’ armies, especially the achievement of practical results of cooperation between the two units and human resource training. . At the same time, the General also mentioned the concept of expanding further cooperation in the future.
In response, Lt. Gen. ROMEO S BRAWNER JUNIOR agreed with Lt. Gen. HUN Manet’s assessment of past cooperation and reaffirmed his support for the concept of further strengthening and expanding the relationship between the two armies in the future.
In addition, the commanders of the two countries’ armies also shared their experiences in the fight against Kovid-19, including the introduction of various measures and the participation of the army in the vaccination campaign.
