Phnom Penh: Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of the 43rd General Assembly, receives HE Ahmed Bin Mohamed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP). ) To pay a courtesy call on the occasion of His Excellency’s participation in the 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly hosted by the Cambodian Parliament.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammad al-Javan expressed his deep gratitude to Samdech for allowing His Excellency and the delegation to pay a courtesy call on this occasion.
His Excellency informed Samdech about the mission of his organization, which now has 95 members, all parliaments in the world.
He pointed out that in the future, his organization will open an office in Cambodia, and HE Sous Yara, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Propaganda and Information Committee of the National Assembly of Cambodia, will be chairing the GCTP for one year.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Javan requested the National Assembly President to promote cooperation between the GCTP and the National Assembly to disseminate to the world more Cambodian culture and love for peace.
