Phnom Penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the afternoon of October 30, 2022, visited a boat race organized on the Bassac River in Takhmao City, Kandal Province.
This year, Kandal Province organized a boat race at Bassac River Park, Takhmao City for 2 days, from October 29 to 30, 2022 to create an atmosphere that attracts national and international guests to visit and have fun to celebrate. The Royal Water Festival, floating lanterns, worshiping the moon and Ok Ambok, which will take place in the near future.
With this boat race, the province has organized exhibitions selling a variety of local products, especially at night, and floating lanterns, fireworks and a contemporary concert with famous singers in the Kingdom of Cambodia. For this boat race, there are 92 boats in total, including: 46 boats, 6 rowing boats, 36 international standard boats for men and 4 international standard boats for women, with a total capacity of 4,506 people and 784 security guards
