National Police Force vows to strengthen security for ASEAN Summit to enhance national prestige

As the chair of ASEAN and the host of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and related meetings from 8 to 13 November 2022, the Cambodian Armed Forces has laid out a detailed plan for security and order. The National Police General Commissioner General Lt. Gen. Chhay Kim Khoeun, Deputy Commissioner General of the National Police Commission, said that the National Police General Commission has prepared more than 10,000 troops to protect the security of delegations attending the ASEAN Summit and related meetings. .
He added that the National Police has been in contact with international partners such as Interpol, ASEAN Police and the FBI, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam and China. Australia and some partners.
His Excellency emphasized that our cooperation was supported and cooperated in the exchange of security information to prevent terrorism and the exchange of information related to the defense of the ASEAN Summit, as well as the commitment to provide experience and training to assist.
