Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng Leaves Samdech Techo Hun Sen to Attend G20 Summit in Indonesia and Informal Dialogue of APEC Leaders in Bangkok, Thailand
Phnom Penh÷In the afternoon of Monday, November 14, 2022, Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, accompanied by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led a high-level delegation to attend a meeting. G20 summit in Indonesia and informal dialogue of APEC leaders in Bangkok, Thailand.
The invitation to attend the G20 Summit is at the invitation of Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia and Chairman of the G20 Summit in 2022. The G20 Summit will be held on November 15-16, 2022 in Bali, Indonesia under the theme of Indonesia’s G20 presidency “Rebuilding Together, Rebuilding Stronger”. Address the first session on food and energy security and the second session on health issues, which will emphasize the importance of multilateralism and cooperation towards the goal of post-epidemic sustainable recovery.
In particular, for the informal dialogue of APEC leaders, Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen, as the guest of the President of the Summit, will participate in the “Informal Dialogue of APEC Leaders with Guests” on November 18, 2022 in Phnom Penh. Bangkok at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Prayuth Chan-o-cha. The Prime Minister, in his capacity as chair of ASEAN in 2022, will address the opening ceremony of the Informal Dialogue, focusing on sustainable development.
