Tomorrow morning! Samdech Hun Sen to Distribute More Than 500 Tons of Rice to More Than 5,000 Families in Banteay Meanchey

Phnom Penh÷Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, will deliver more than 500 tons of rice seeds to more than 5,000 families affected by the floods in Banteay Meanchey province on the morning of October 23, 2022.
Floods, rains and runoff from Thailand affected eight districts: Serei Sophorn, Poipet, Mongkul Borei, Phnom Srok, Preah Net Preah, O’Chrov, Thmar Puok and Malai.
The floods affected 15,506 families, equivalent to 65,688 people, including 4 dead, affected 36,059 hectares of rice, 2,899 hectares of cassava, 128 hectares of mixed crops, 2,867 animals. There are 75 pagodas, 38 pagodas, 7 health centers and 802 roads with a length of 406,295 meters.
With this disaster, the authorities and the armed forces in the province have been active to help evacuate people from the floods and help solve various problems.
