Phnom Penh: Lt. Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, Commander of the Army, said that Cambodia has suffered from wars and divisions in its history for more than 500 years before achieving peace under a win-win policy.
On the occasion of the opening ceremony of the Military History Seminar on Win-Win Politics (Principles, Processes and Achievements) “Sharing for Peace and Harmony” on November 7, Lt. Gen. Hun Manet stated that we all love true peace “Peace cannot be achieved easily, especially in the context of Cambodia, a country that has suffered from wars and conflicts for more than 500 years.”
He added that it can also be said that win-win politics in Cambodia has a wide range of meanings, that is, it covers all areas of society as a whole, because win-win politics brings complete peace, national unity and territorial unity. One constitution, one government, one armed force, which is a favorable factor to ensure the protection of independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, as well as the development of society in all fields.
