Before reaching the key recommendations of His Excellency Dr. Aun Porn Moniroth, Dr. Thong Khon also made a report on the results of the 3rd National Ecotourism Forum as follows:

* Cambodia is internationally recognized for its community-based and ecotourism work, especially within the ASEAN framework, through the implementation of a community-based tourism development model in the form of a Public-Private-People Partnership (4Ps). Power to the people, the community, maximize the benefits to the grassroots, reduce poverty and adhere to the principles of sustainability and responsibility in accordance with the concept of “conservation serves development, development serves to preserve” and in accordance with the principle of sharing benefits.
