In response to the outcome of this conference, HE Minister expressed his full support and encouraged all leaders, civil servants and park rangers to continue their efforts to better implement their roles and responsibilities and solve problems. Challenges with ownership, professionalism, responsibility and innovation, as well as continue to strengthen and expand closer cooperation and partnerships with ministries, sub-national administrative institutions, private sector development partners and all stakeholders. To achieve more recent successes in our lofty mission and strategic goal of ensuring environmental protection, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development for all Cambodians and all generations.
At the same time, HE Minister of Environment requested all units under the Ministry of Environment and the National Council for Sustainable Development to continue their efforts and pay special attention to the implementation of some of the following priority tasks:
(1) Continue to strengthen modern administration and expand financial sustainability in a manner appropriate to the actual social and economic context of Cambodia, national environmental priorities, as well as global trends.
(2) Continue to strengthen and sharpen policies and strategies that are appropriate and feasible, especially in response to the priorities of climate change.

(3) Continue to strengthen environmental protection to ensure a good environment and a clean village, which is the basis for supporting better life and public health for all people and all generations.
(4) Continue to strengthen the management of protected areas to maintain the richness of natural resources and biodiversity, services, ecosystem services and sustainable local economic development.
(5) Continue to develop local communities to become a belt to protect natural resources and support the local economy.
(6) Continue to promote environmental education to raise people’s awareness and responsibility for the environment, the spirit of “Cambodia, my homeland” and strengthen the close ties between people and nature.
(7) Continue to promote cooperation in international relations and environmental diplomacy in the interests of Cambodia.
(8) Continue to promote the work of gender, youth, women and children to ensure prosperity, environment and social harmony.
