Phnom Penh: His Excellency Say Sam Al, Minister of Environment, stated that the Ministry Meeting is an important opportunity to review the achievements of the challenges and put forward solutions to serve the interests of the people in the cause of the environment and natural resources.

His Excellency Say Sam Al said this at the meeting to review the results of environmental work in 2022 and the work direction for 2023 of the Ministry of Environment on October 31, 2022. The conference was also attended by His Excellency Dr. Mong Reththy, Chairman of the Senate Agriculture, Water Resources, Meteorology, Rural Development and Environment Planning Committee, HE Chea Oeung, Member of Parliament for Kampong Thom Province and Representative of the Third Committee of the National Assembly. Inter-Ministerial Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Ladies and Gentlemen, a total of more than 500 civil servants under the Ministry of Environment. The meeting to review the results of the Ministry of Environment will be held for two days from October 31 to November 1, 2022.

HE Say Sam Al, Minister of Environment, said that this meeting was an important opportunity for the Ministry of Environment and the National Council for Sustainable Development, together with relevant ministries, institutions, sub-national administrations, development partners and the private sector to review the results. Work, environment, challenges and opportunities, as well as participate in discussions, exchange ideas, share new experiences and knowledge to lead the selection of policies, strategic plans and work directions to be more appropriate, consistent and responsive to the realities of society and the world.
